About the role:

About

NYC based HealthTech startup, creating NextGen tools for behavioral health providers. All tools are built from the ground up to be HIPAA-compliant with best-in-class security protocols. They are both a B2B and B2C business and are solving meaty technical challenges on creating proactive host intrusion monitoring and detections and security group firewalls. The founders are committed to solving the challenges that clinicians face every day. They are mission-driven and want to create a world that allows people to get rapid access to the best clinicians in the US.

The Role

The team is growing rapidly, and they are looking for engineers who care about creating a positive impact, love solving challenging problems, and will thrive in the fast-paced start-up life. This person will work up and down our stack, propose and lead new projects, and help define the company’s technical and product direction.

Skillset

  • Experience with React, TypeScript ideal
  • Backend services are written in Python. Experience in Python is an added benefit
  • Working knowledge of building web applications using single page technologies and service oriented architecture.
  • 5+ years experience in software engineering

Preferred experience

  • A mentality of approaching tasks with excitement, a desire to learn new skills and technologies to solve new engineering challenges.
  • Alignment on company values – it’s the early chapters of the company story. You’ll be expected to cultivate and nurture existing values, and also play a lead role in shaping how it grows.
  • An ability to drive and build projects from 0 to 1. To identify problems, build alignment, and implement solutions autonomously.
